Do you remember the green cotton fatigues? Well they looked good when they are starched and pressed, that is what I got issued. Since my cousin was a goof ball, I was in trouble all the time. Unfortunately when in formation he was in front of me. He would get off cadence just to throw me off beat of course the TI would see that and he would stop the whole flight and I would have to do push ups! That was on a continous basis I had a lot of 341's pulled by the second week in basic. On the third week I woke up early and about 20 people was gone, they just packed up and left! I remember the mail call the TI would smell the letters and of course tease the one that had a perfume smell.
